5 Things For A Poster

Five Things A Poster Should Do For You

  • Catch Your Attention
    • Bright colors, pictures, etc.
  • Inform You
    • If a poster doesn't have the necessary information but a bunch of dirge, then it's not doing its job.
  • Easy-to-follow Layout
    • Posts and information should be in a logical order and broken into sections so it is easy to follow.
  • Easy to Read
    •  The font size and type should aid rather than hinder a potential reader.
  • Graphics
    • Pictures or design or something needs to be there to add "pizazz" and keep people interested. However, they should be relevant to the topic of the poster. Otherwise, that's just plain confusing.
